We started at the Winter Fantasy and wanted to move into the shimmery castle - it was our absolute favorite. Everyone around us seemed to be in awe of the massive bright and beautiful light displays. Prepare to feel transported to the themed worlds. There are foot paths to walk on but you will want to veer off the path, so we recommend wearing snow boots or old sneakers since the grounds are quite muddy when exploring. It is a feast for the eyes! There are interactive elements that kids of all ages will enjoy (like slides, a horse and carriage, and tunnels) and photo ops are even marked along the way. You can purchase tickets to the Luminocity Festival on its website. Animals in the Mysterious Forest Arctic Trail Next to the Lucky Meteor Corridor, this was my second favorite installation. I loved the way the different colored shadows of light danced on the trees creating majestic shadows against the tree trunks and branches. I will admit that since the Luminocity Festival starts around sunset, the Mysterious Forest was a wee-bit spooky but not in a horrifying way. We quickly passed by the Lumie’s Friends exhibit once my son saw the bridge that led to the illuminated tunnel and the Mysterious Forest. Star Pavilion Reindeer and Gift installation Next up was viewing the Christmas exhibit which had multiple large scale Christmas themed ornaments while classic Christmas songs played in the background. It’s a really beautiful installation and made you feel like you were a character in a fantasy movie. Or as I called it, the “star night tunnel.” I would highly recommend that you take a photo here. While walking around the park we also saw an illuminated tunnel, known as the Lucky Meteor Corridor with silver stars located at the top of its ridges. Tea cup with house of cards, Luminocity Festival Rose Garden, Luminocity Festival I fell in love with all of the installations from Alice’s Sleepwalk inspired by “ Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland.” From the oversized mushrooms, deck of cards, the Queen of Hearts, it was a magical sight to see.
